Interpretation
- "Customer" shall be the person who accepts a quotation for the installation of the goods
- "Goods" shall be the products that the Floor-Fitting is to supply for floor installation.
- "Contract" shall be the Contract for the Services offered by the Floor-Fitting
- "Completion" shall be the final date at which the floor installation is completed.
- "Fitter" shall be the person fitting the floor in name of Floor-Fitting
- "Price" is the total price for the services offered by the Floor-Fitting
- "Services" shall be the floor installation work carried out by the Floor-Fitting on behalf of the Customer
Basis of the sale

The Floor-Fitting shall sell and the Customer shall purchase the Services as detailed in the Contract and mutually agreed by the Company and the Customer. The Customer shall read these Terms and Conditions thoroughly before agreeing to any services offered by the Floor-Fitting. By agreeing to the services offered you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. If the Customer has any confusion over any of the Terms and Conditions, he/she must clarify this before they agree to the Services.

The Customer's signature on the Contract constitutes as a legally binding order by the Customer

Only the work detailed in the Contract will be carried out by the Floor-Fitting. Any additional works carried out will be at an additional cost agreed with the customer prior to floor installation.
Price
1,
The Customer shall agree to pay the Floor-Fitting the Price as mutually agreed on the written Contract. The price shall remain fixed for 30 days from the date of the Contract. The Floor-Fitting reserves the right to change the prices of its services from time to time to reflect the change in living costs.

The price quoted overleaf is on the agreement that the Fitter will find no faults or hindrances before fittng takes place. Any unforeseen obstacles could result in the termination of the Contract or new Pricing. The Company reserves the right to amend the Contract by the net amount of any extra costs arising or incurred by the Company occurring before completion of the works as specified in the Contract.
Terms of Payment

In case of ordering goods and services,all paymentwill be paid in 2 instalments.Price of material in full at time of signing the contract,price of fitting in full,upon floor installation completion.In case of ordering the goods only,full payment will be maid in advance.

In the event that any of the instalments shall not be paid within seven days of the due date, the whole of the balance of the Price shall become immediately due together with signatory penalty.Signatory penalty shall accrue on any outstanding balance at the rate of czk 280 per day until payment in full is made.
Floor Installation and Completion

Installation of the Goods shall be undertaken by the Floor-Fitting strictly in accordance with the Contract and these terms and conditions.

The Customer must ensure all rooms are cleared prior to floor installation unless costed for. If rooms are not cleared, the Floor-Fitting takes no responsibility for damage that may occur to furniture, walls, doors etc as a result of the Fitter having to clear the rooms. The Fitter reserves the right to refuse to fit the floor due to the rooms not being cleared. The Company will then arrange another time for the Fitter to return to fit the floor. This will therefore incur an additional cost to the Customer for wasted time and wages.

Completion of the Contract shall take place on completion of the floor installation and the Customer will Signoff the work. Once signoff has occurred you are legally binded by these Terms and Conditions. If there are any disputes with the work carried out by the Fitter, the work must not be signed off. Signoff is at the Customer discretion. Any scratches and marks found in the floor that have been caused by the fitter will only be rectified if pointed out to the Fitter before the Customer has signed off the work. Any scratches notices after this time i.e the following day, will be assumed to be the fault of the Customer and will not be rectified.

Any changes to the original Contract will be agreed and signed off by the Customer before they are carried out. Any disputes after this Signoff will not be rectified.

Due to the cost of loading and landfill tax, carpets and old flooring that is uplifted in order for the new floor to be laid will not be removed by the fitter. It is up to the Customer to dispose of his/her own waste. Rubbish will only be removed if this has been costed into the Contract.

Clients must fit felt protection or similar under legs of furniture or a matting under heavy furniture pieces.
We do not install flooring whilst other trades are present due to likelihood of damage, Please ensure other trades are aware.
Company's and Customer's rights to cancel

Floor-Fitting fitter travel at times upto 1-2 hours to reach you,if we are late we apologise, if for some reason outside of our control we cannot arrive to install flooring on a designated day/time then this is not grounds for cancellation.
2,
Should you be unavailable on the day of installation when our fitters arrive, then we will give you another fitting date, and may charge reasonable costs for travel and loss of works.

The Customer has the rights to cancel the Contract within 3 days of the date of signing without any penalty.
4,
Any cancellations received after 3 days of the date on the Contract are at the discretion of the Company. Should any cancellation be accepted, deposits are non refundable.

The Company shall cancel this Contract at any time on 3 days written notice to the Customer. In this event, the Company will pay the Customer any reasonable loses or costs the Customer may have suffered as a result of the cancellation unless the cancellation was by reason any act of default of the Customer.
Warranties and Liabilities

All Services are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of wood floor installation. Material is only guaranteed against any fitting faults and not any faults in the wood.
2,
The Floor-Fitting shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any defect arising from subsidence or building movement. Nor shall the Floor-Fitting be under any liability for movement due to damp caused by water leak from any pipes or apliances.

The Floor-Fitting shall be under no liability under the above warranty, condition or guarantee if the Price of the Contract is not paid on the due date from the date that the payment is due until such a time as the Price is paid in full.The Customer’s statutory rights are not affected. If the Customer has any doubts as to their statutory rights they should seek independent legal advice.

Clients must be available on completion to sign an inspection notice.
5,
Entry and exit mats must be fitted at all external doors, this is a requirement of the manufacturers warranties.
General
The company reserves the rights to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. This will not affect the Terms and Conditions that are agreed by the Customer at the time the floor installation service was purchased.
